Sonny Moorman

More than just a Blues-Rock artist, award-winning guitar player Sonny Moorman balances his signature smoking-hot riffs with a hard-rocking precision and feel born deep in the Blues ethos. Seeming to channel inspiration from elsewhere, his world-class playing is at once both transcendental and firmly grounded in reality, captivating audiences nationwide. The music is original, complex and never stale, with relatable lyrics and a sound that conjures up masters like Duane Allman, Lonnie Mack, and Freddy King. Still, Moorman has forged his own intoxicating style throughout his decades-long career, which firmly establishes him as one of the last great authentic roadhouse players.

Ricky Nye

Blues, boogie woogie, ballads and classic New Orleans jazz and R&B all come from the hands and heart of Cincinnati, Ohio pianist RICKY NYE. Inducted into the International Boogie Woogie Hall Of Fame in 2013, Ricky has been the recipient of numerous awards given by CityBeat Magazine and The Cincinnati Enquirer throughout the years, and was the driving force behind the annual BLUES & BOOGIE PIANO SUMMIT held in Northern Kentucky from 1999-2017. Ricky regularly performs his infectious blend of American roots music at concerts and clubs throughout the U.S., and has maintained a career in Europe and the U.K. for over twenty years.

“Known for its rollicking, foot-stomping jubilance, the boogie-woogie sound erupted from the American South during the late 1920s. This piano-centric subgenre of the jazz tradition drew its structural elements from the blues and spirituals, but introduced an intoxicating rhythmic complexity that inspired generations of young dancers. Ricky Nye is one of the nation’s leading players and preservationists of boogie-woogie, stunning audiences with unmatched authenticity, virtuosic speed and playful arrangements”- Vail Jazz

Johnny Burgin featuring Noah Wotherspoon

Johnny had a bang-up year in ’23, earning a BMA Nomination for Best Traditional Blues Artist and playing 200 dates across the US, Mexico, Japan and Europe.  But if you’d told him this would be his career when he was in High School,  he wouldn’t have belived you.  Johnny grew up in Misssissippi and South Carolina and went to University of Chicago with the intention of becoming a writer.  When a friend took him out to a West Side ghetto club to hear the blues singer Tail Dragger, it was a conversion moment.  The blues came to life for Johnny and he fell headfirst into the vibrant Chicago blues scene.  Choosing the blues clubs over the library, Johnny eagerly absorbed the lessons from the blues masters who practiced their craft nightly.

Noah Wotherspoon is an absolutely phenomenal and captivating musician, who found his calling at a young age, and made a name for himself as one of the leading musicians, and blues guitarists, to rein from Dayton, Ohio.
