Smokin' Zeus
Born from a loose East Row collective known as Love Sausage, Smokin’ Zeus emerged after years of Tuesday‑night basement sessions dedicated to shaping songs of vocalist and songwriter Bill Kreutzjans. What began as a creative hang evolved into a band built on risk‑taking, genre‑bending, and writing the kind of rock songs best paired with whiskey straight from the bottle.
Smokin’ Zeus features Kreutzjans on lead vocals and rhythm guitar; Berklee‑trained guitarist, producer, and engineer Ashley Shepherd; longtime Cincinnati bassist Greg Greene; and Texas‑bred drummer Aaron Williams. Together, they deliver a sound that’s gritty, melodic, and unapologetically fun — a modern rock outfit with deep roots and zero fear of exploring new territory.
