he David Burk Band
With Guitarist Bill Littleford
David Burk could be the hardest working harmonica player and vocalist in the Tri-state! He fronts the Chicago Blues band Heavy Juice and jazzy trio David & the HeartStrings. He and guitarist Bob Lese recently won the Cincy Blues Challenge and competed at the International Blue Challenge in Memphis. He has gigged with area legends Jimmy D. Rodgers, Eric Henry, Greg Chako, Reece Murray, Sonny Moorman and Noah Wotherspoon and has performed at the Dayton Blues Festival and the Cincy Blues Fest.
Now here comes the DAVID BURK BAND. Plenty of room for Muddy Waters and Little Walter, but with touches of Bob Dylan, James Hunter and Sam Myers. Guitarist Bill Littleford holds down his own trio, works regularly with Belle of the Blues Lisa Biales, and has appeared at Mansion Hill with John Ford. The ace rhythm section includes Dayton mainstay Marty Romie from the Reece Murray Band along with Tri-state drum master Todd Remmy. Dance, snap, head-bop--join in on a journey through the blues with the David Burk Band!
